Role Overview

Provide night-shift HSE coverage on a sanitary landfill project.

Work to client HSE standards and Qatar statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Control the permit-to-work system and verify isolations before night-shift activities commence.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and maintain attendance and topic records.
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled HSE inspections across landfill works.
  • Review, approve, or reject risk assessments and method statements before work starts.
  • Report, investigate, and document incidents, near misses, and observations.
  • Lead emergency response for the night crew and hand over open permits and actions to the day-shift HSE team.

Requirements

  • Previous HSE approval on Qatar government projects is mandatory.
  • At least 10 years of experience is required.
  • Demonstrated HSE experience on construction sites is required.
  • Working knowledge of permit-to-work systems, RAMS, and incident investigation is required.
  • Familiarity with PPE compliance monitoring and site welfare standards is required.
  • Maintain HSE records, registers, and logs suitable for client and regulatory audit.

Schedule

  • The role provides HSE coverage for the night shift.

Contract

  • The contract duration is six months.

  • Work location is in person.
