Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integration services
- Integrate applications with internal systems, government platforms, and third party services
- Develop secure API authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys)
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to define integration architecture and API standards
- Develop API documentation, interface specifications, and integration guides
- Perform API testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues across multiple environments
- Ensure APIs comply with security, scalability, and performance best practices
- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams during testing, deployment, and production releases
- Support Agile development by participating in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in API development and enterprise system integration
- Strong expertise in REST APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols
- Hands on experience with .NET Core/C# or Java for backend integration services
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Gateway, and API Management
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API testing tools
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging, and middleware concepts
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies

Role Overview
