About the Role
Birbal AI is looking for an AI-Native / Agentic Design Lead to design the agentic operating model with Responsible AI controls. The role involves defining AI-enabled workflows, identifying AI agent use cases, and establishing governance and oversight.

Responsibilities
- Define AI enabled workflows and determine the human led vs. AI assisted operating model.
- Identify AI agent use cases and reusable AI/data components.
- Establish decision rights, governance controls, exception handling, human in the loop oversight, and lifecycle monitoring.
- Define Responsible AI governance, evaluation, observability, and transparency standards.
- Assess off the shelf, platform, and bespoke AI solutions while ensuring technology neutral and interoperable designs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing AI/ML or Intelligent Automation solutions.
- Proven experience deploying AI/automation solutions into production at enterprise scale.
- Hands on experience designing Agentic AI, LLM based, or Intelligent Decisioning solutions.
- Experience implementing Responsible AI governance.
- Government or regulated industry experience is an advantage.

Role Overview
