Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on field instruments.
- Troubleshoot control system failures and repair or replace defective instruments and control components.
- Maintain calibration records and maintenance reports.
Instrumentation work
- Install, calibrate, and test pressure transmitters, flow meters, level transmitters, temperature instruments, and water-quality analyzers.
- Perform loop checking and signal verification.
Control and automation systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and control panels.
- Assist with commissioning and startup activities.
- Support control valve testing, tuning, and maintenance.
- Diagnose communication and network-related control issues.
Required qualifications
- Diploma or technical certificate in instrumentation engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or automation technology.
- Knowledge of PROFIBUS communication protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with PROFIBUS-based process instrumentation, including pressure, level, differential pressure, and electromagnetic flow transmitters.
- Knowledge of Festo panels, Siemens PLCs, and Yokogawa CENTUM VP DCS.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic and calibration tools, including ProfiTrace devices and pressure calibrators.
Preferred qualifications
- Additional certifications in PLC, SCADA, or instrumentation are advantageous.
