Role Overview
The role monitors the operational status of autonomous vehicles and coordinates responses to incidents, accidents, and emergencies.
The position requires situational awareness, clear communication, and rapid, accurate responses to developing situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the real-time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
- Identify and respond to traffic accidents, emergencies, and operational incidents.
- Dispatch emergency work orders to ground support teams.
- Coordinate on-site response activities with operational teams.
- Escalate incidents according to established procedures.
- Maintain communication with ground teams during incidents.
- Execute map interruption processes according to operational guidelines.
- Monitor incidents through resolution or escalation.
- Maintain accurate incident, action, and response records.
- Follow emergency response and operational procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a control room, command centre, emergency response centre, fleet monitoring environment, or similar operation is preferred.
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability.
- Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents or emergencies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to work with monitoring systems.
- Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
