Role Overview
- The instructor will conduct and assist in developing maintenance training programs to enhance trainee skills.
- The instructor will conduct platform and other instruction with trainee assessment and provide remedial training.
- The instructor will review/amend course material to ensure training effectiveness and maintain records.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform instruction on aircraft maintenance fundamentals, safety, inspection, technical publications, aircraft systems and components, aviation regulations.
- Work with course developers to provide technical information and guidance.
- Review, assist in development of, and/or revise courses using SAT or ADDIE.
- Prepare program syllabi detailing maintenance courses.
- Prepare classes in support of specific platform and other syllabi.
- Conduct desired classroom and platform instruction.
- Perform intermediate and terminal assessments.
- Review assessment reports and course evaluations to amend training courses.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage the learning process.
- Maintain trainee records and collaborate with other instructors.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Training Supervisor or Manager.
