Role Overview

Location

• The position is based offshore in Qatar.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a mechanical or petroleum engineering diploma, or an equivalent qualification with relevant safety, quality control, and construction courses.
• At least 12 years of experience supervising offshore installation for oil and gas EPIC projects.
• Experience with offshore production and wellhead platforms, jacket structures, material inspection, method statements, and load-out activities.
• Robust FEED and EPIC experience with strong contractor-deliverable review and approval capability.
• Excellent English command, computer literacy, and strong communication and writing skills.
• Excellent knowledge of engineering standards, quality control, safety, and environmental practices.
• Ability to review method statements, inspection and test plans, schedules, and drawings and to propose solutions to bottlenecks.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage offshore installations, heavy lifts, topsides, jackets, pipelines, umbilicals, skids, tie-in spools, risers, and J-tubes.
• Ensure installations comply with approved scopes, drawings, engineering designs, safety, environmental, and company requirements.
• Guide bidders and contractors during tendering, engineering reviews, heavy lifts, subsea installation, and deliverable approvals.
• Participate in constructability, SIMOPS, schedule risk, 3D model, HAZOP, HAZDEM, and lifting plan workshops.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower, equipment, progress, risks, slippage, and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate offshore campaigns, permits, contractor mobilization and demobilization, and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Maintain daily records, report anomalies and contractual deviations, recommend corrective actions, and support standards development.
