KEY OUTCOMES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As an Installation, Integration & Test Technician, you are responsible for
- Development of installation documentation to support installation activities.
- Perform installation of project specific equipment.
- Testing of new installations to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
- Set to work of electronic and communication equipment/software to support sub-system and system level testing.
- Ensure quality, workmanship, mentoring and task completion in support of the Project Team.
- KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- AQF Certificate/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Systems (or currently completing)
- Practical experience on communication and/or electronic systems.
- Computer literacy skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of configuration management processes and procedures.
- GOOD TO KNOW Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks. Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain NV1 security clearance. Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website http://www.defence.gov.au/AGSVA/. In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. The U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
