About the Role
AECOM seeks an experienced Structural Inspector for a major Roads and Bridges project in Dubai. The role involves inspection and supervision of roads and bridges works to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities
- Be familiar with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures
- Ensure contractor compliance with standards and specifications
- Maintain records of contractor human and equipment daily resources
- Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required
- Liaise and daily follow up with contractor
- Prepare daily report to Resident Engineer or Structural Engineer
- Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures
- Prepare site measurements and surveying checks for bridge work and associated structures
- Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records
- Assist in preparation of correspondences in compliance with contract documents
- Monitor start up, commissioning and handover of site works
- Maintain records of materials tests performed and executed works
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience within similar projects, with minimum 3 years in UAE
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- UAE experience is preferred
- RTA Approval is preferred

Job Duties
- Be familiar with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
- Ensure contractor compliance with standards and specifications.

- Follow up and implement site instructions.
- Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures.
- Prepare site measurements and surveying checks.
- Coordinate with client project manager during site inspections.
- Monitor contractor QA/QC activities.
- Assist in preparation of correspondences.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience within similar projects, with minimum 3 years in UAE.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Relevant experience in comparable structural & roads projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- RTA Approval is preferred.
