Information Technology Support Engineer

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, printing, telephony, and meeting-room equipment.
• Log, resolve, or escalate every request and close it with the user.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID accounts, licenses, mailboxes, and access, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Set up, deploy, maintain, and recover laptops and mobile devices.
• Maintain IT asset and license registers and track renewals and warranties.
• Apply updates, patching, endpoint protection, access reviews, backup checks, and suspicious-activity reporting.
• Test internal platform releases, verify screens, and write reproducible defect reports.
• Maintain operational configuration data in company systems.
• Automate repetitive IT operations tasks using scripts or workflow tools.
• Maintain IT procedures and user guides and liaise with suppliers.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6–7 years of experience in IT support or a hands-on technical role.
• Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365 administration, and basic networking.
• Clear written and spoken English with precise documentation and fault-reporting ability.
• Methodical and service-oriented approach with appropriate escalation judgment.
• Interest in automation and AI tooling demonstrated through relevant projects.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash and basic SQL.
• Exposure to Intune or another MDM, ticketing systems, or workflow platforms.
• ITIL Foundation is preferred; CompTIA A+ or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals is advantageous.
