Design Architect
The Design Architect develops architectural concepts, design proposals, presentations, 3D models, drawings, and documentation for architectural and interior design projects.
The role supports design development from concept stage through detailed design while maintaining design quality, accuracy, coordination, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, design proposals, and presentations.
- Create detailed SketchUp 3D models using components, groups, scenes, materials, and organized model structures.
- Translate 2D drawings and design concepts into accurate 3D models.
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop and maintain Revit models, including documentation, views, sheets, families, and model organization.
- Coordinate information across 2D drawings, Revit models, and SketchUp models.
- Review designs for functionality, aesthetics, proportions, technical accuracy, and constructability.
- Assist with design development from concept through detailed design.
- Maintain high standards of design quality, accuracy, coordination, and presentation.
