Job Purpose
Manage and deliver IT projects across a banking environment from initiation through implementation and closure.
The role covers project governance, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, risk management, scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT projects end-to-end from initiation and planning through execution, go-live, handover, and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
- Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and project controls.
- Coordinate with business, application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, PMO, and external vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, deliverables, SLAs, and performance.
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, steering committee presentations, and executive reports.
- Lead meetings and resolve issues and dependencies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate requirements gathering, testing, UAT, deployment, go-live, and operational handover.
- Ensure compliance with banking, regulatory, audit, information security, and governance standards.
- Monitor progress and take corrective action to support on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as required.
- Maintain charters, SOWs, WBS, RAID logs, risk registers, change requests, implementation plans, and closure reports.
