Role Overview
The IT Manager will oversee, maintain, and secure the organisation’s technology infrastructure and software systems in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The role reports to the CEO or COO and includes managing local IT operations, leading technical support, and coordinating with global vendors.
The position is described as full-time, with relocation support from India available.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee on-premises servers, cloud environments, network architecture, and telephony systems.
- Manage local helpdesk operations and ensure high availability of business-critical systems.
- Implement cybersecurity frameworks, manage firewalls, enforce data backup policies, and align with UAE data privacy laws.
- Negotiate and manage service level agreements with hardware and software providers.
- Draft annual IT budgets, monitor CAPEX, and optimize OPEX.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate system administrators and desktop support engineers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- The role requires 5 to 8 years of progressive IT experience.
