Role Overview
Lead real estate developments end-to-end from initial ideation through concept design, delivery, and handover.
Ensure feasibility, governance, and quality standards are upheld at every development stage.
Work closely with the Design and Delivery department while retaining ownership of RIBA stages within the Development department.
Responsibilities
- Establish and document project scope, budget, programme, and success criteria during project initiation.
- Support preparation of approvals needed to progress developments from ideation into concept.
- Facilitate feasibility studies and option appraisals for prospective developments.
- Assess technical, commercial, and market viability against strategic objectives.
- Coordinate planning, design, finance, legal, sales, and other stakeholders during concept and pre-construction.
- Prepare stage-gate submissions, coordinate stakeholder input, and address approval or progress challenges.
- Prepare development papers, project updates, and supporting documentation for management review.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, real estate development, project management, business management, or a related built-environment discipline.
