Position summary
The coordinator supports planning and implementation of manufacturing equipment, technologies, capital projects, and process improvements.
The role is hands-on and cross-functional, coordinating projects from initial planning through installation, commissioning, and production launch.
The position reports to the Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate capital projects from planning through implementation and handover.
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment, technology, and automation and gather equipment requirements.
- Maintain schedules, budgets, action lists, project documentation, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors, internal departments, installations, commissioning, meetings, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support capital expenditure requests, business cases, management presentations, production trials, equipment acceptance, and readiness activities.
