You'll make an impact by:

  • Driving industrial software sales in Qatar by identifying and developing new business opportunities across key customers and industries
  • Supporting the sales team in shaping, pitching, and closing software driven solutions that address customer operational challenges
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers by translating business needs into digital and software solutions. This includes engaging with customers at technical, operational, and management levels to deeply understand their business challenges and translate them into actionable digital opportunities.
  • Leading customer engagement to identify opportunities in areas such as manufacturing operations, analytics, and digitalization. You will focus on value based sales engagements, targeting improvements in productivity, quality, energy efficiency, sustainability, and overall operational excellence.
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely deal closure
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions combining automation, software, and services
  • Contributing to account growth by increasing software adoption and expanding existing customer relationships. This involves supporting account strategies focused on incremental value creation and growth, identifying and executing targeted entry points (like pilots or assessments), and expanding towa

Your success is grounded in

  • Proven experience selling industrial software solutions, ideally across areas such as SCADA/HMI (e.g., WinCC), Manufacturing Operations Management / shopfloor systems, and asset analytics
  • Strong capability in consultative, value based selling of digital and software driven transformation solutions
  • Solid understanding of industrial software environments, including engineering, operations, simulation, and performance optimization tools
  • Exposure to solutions such as engineering & lifecycle management (e.g., COMOS), advanced process modeling (e.g., gPROMS), simulation and virtual commissioning (e.g., SIMIT), and predictive maintenance (e.g., Senseye)
  • Track record of driving software business growth, from pipeline creation to closing complex, multi stakeholder opportunities. You will be skilled in assisting with the development of robust business cases, calculating ROI, and defining measurable outcomes for digital investments, ensuring our soluti
  • Ability to position integrated software solutions across the full operational lifecycle—from design and engineering to execution and optimization
  • Strong collaboration skills to work across sales, technical, and global portfolio teams in a matrix organization
  • Technical or engineering background with good understanding of OT/IT integration and industrial digital architecture. Familiarity with IT/OT convergence, edge computing, cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, and industrial analytics is highly valued.
  • Exceptional business acumen to support ROI/value case development and influence customer stakeholders effectively.
  • A customer centric, structured, and analytical approach to identifying and solving customer challenges.

Language Requirements

  • English: Fluent – essential for engaging with international stakeholders, preparing proposals, and leading technical discussions.
  • Arabic: Preferred – a strong asset for effectively engaging with regional customers and understanding the local business context.
