Key skills for this role
As an Operations Planner , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will:
Develop and maintain production and material plans, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where needed.
Collaborate closely with team leaders, program managers, and buyers to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Manage capacity planning processes and lead regular production review meetings.
Support the team in meeting and exceeding sales goals of over £205 million.
Strong MRP II planning skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally with ERP systems.
Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with complex bills of material and routings (advantageous).
APICS or Institute of Operations Management qualifications (desirable but not essential)
