• Lead the technical execution of IT projects, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and industry standards. • Manage the project’s technical scope, supporting effective planning and execution in collaboration with the project management team. • Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues, ensuring project success. • Facilitate technical discussions and workshops to promote collaboration within the team.

• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, ensuring design integrity and compliance with customer governance. • Review technical designs to ensure they align with architectural principles and project goals. • Collaborate with Operational Technology OEMs to integrate manufacturing equipment with IT infrastructure, bridging industrial technologies with enterprise IT applications.

• Building strong relationships with customers by understanding their challenges and delivering solutions that meet their expectations. • Completing projects with a “right-first-time” approach and sharing technical insights to improve future work. • Driving technical innovation and excellence, while balancing business needs and commercial awareness.
• Proven experience in leading the technical delivery of IT projects, particularly within complex engineering or manufacturing environments. • Expertise in networking, security, infrastructure, virtualisation, and cloud technologies. • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, with experience in frameworks such as ITIL, PRINCE2 and TOGAF. • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical ideas at both technical and business levels. • Ability to mentor and guide IT engineers, creating a collaborative and productive team environment. • The ability to obtain Security Clearance to work at a UK MOD accredited manufacturing facility. • A willingness to work on-site at customers’ manufacturing facilities across the UK and occasionally overseas. • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT), such as PLCs, SCADA and associated protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MTConnect and Profinet). • Understanding of industrial frameworks such as ISA-95 and the Purdue Model.
