About us

What began in 1910 as a small co-operative of just three pharmacies has grown into Wesfarmers Health—a leading Australian organisation in health, beauty, and wellness.

Today, Wesfarmers Health proudly employs over 3,600 team members, all committed to delivering accessible, innovative, and trusted health and beauty services to Australians nationwide, across retail, medi-aesthetics, digital health, and wholesale and supply chain operations.

What you’ll do

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Import Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Head of Transport, this role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end movement of inbound international freight, ensuring products are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively from overseas suppliers through to our Distribution Centres.

Working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders, you will play a critical role in maintaining product availability, managing import compliance requirements, and driving visibility across our inbound supply chain.

Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Manage the import order book from purchase order confirmation through to Distribution Centre receipt, monitoring supplier readiness, cargo milestones and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate sea, air and consolidated freight bookings, selecting the most appropriate transport solutions to meet business requirements while optimising cost
  • Prepare and verify import documentation, ensuring compliance with customs, biosecurity and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers and government agencies to facilitate the timely clearance and delivery of shipments
  • Proactively manage shipment delays, documentation issues and supply risks, implementing corrective actions and communicating impacts to key stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate landed cost information and reconcile freight, duty and brokerage invoices to support inventory valuation and cost accuracy
  • Monitor inbound supply chain performance and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on lead times, visibility, compliance and operational efficiency
  • If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced supply chain environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in imports, international freight forwarding, customs or inbound supply chain operations

Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, retail or related industries will be highly regarded

Strong knowledge of import logistics, customs processes, Incoterms and international freight operations

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple shipments and stakeholders while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using ERP or freight management systems such as SAP

Tertiary qualification or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or Business (desirable)
