About the Role
Our client is seeking an I&C Technician for a nuclear plant shutdown role on a 3-year contract basis in Barakah, UAE. The technician will maintain process plant equipment, perform testing and calibration of instrumentation, and ensure safety compliance.

- Fulfil all tasks as requested by the client
- Comply with all relevant HS&E policies and procedures
- Execute all work activities safely in accordance with plans and the control of work system
- Maintain the process plant and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Intervene on unsafe acts in a responsible and professional manner
- Take ownership of personal safety and that of team members
Requirements
- Proficient with hand tools and use of DMM, Decade Box, Druck pressure test equipment
- Experience in testing and calibrating pressure switches, level switches, flow switches, RTDs, and TCs
- Worked with Swagelok fittings with correct tightening procedure
- Understanding of FME and the required controls
- Experience with pressure, level, and flow transmitters, solenoid testing, and control valve instrumentation
- Experience with confined space, working at height, and radiation work
- Basic fault finding and problem solving skills during testing/calibration
- Very good English speaking, reading, and writing skills
- Experience with digital rod control systems and turbine instrumentation

About the Role
- We are searching on behalf of our client for this role. This position is not with OVI.
- Join our client as an I & C Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the process plant and associated equipment.
- This position requires adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
