Responsibilities
- Maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, HVAC systems, and associated equipment.
- Perform scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components.
- Adjust systems to maintain proper voltage, refrigerant levels, current, frequency, and synchronization.
- Identify, repair, and record malfunctions by removing, repairing, and/or replacing defective components.
- Work from blueprints, drawings, and operate a variety of electrician's hand tools and testing instruments.
- Support various generator/HVAC systems as identified in specified tables.
Requirements
- Universal 608 HVAC certification
- High School diploma or GED
- Formal training on power generating equipment and associated equipment
- Four (4) years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain
- Six (6) months of Cummins Commercial, Advanced Medium Mobile Power Source (AMMPS) and InPower Software experience
- Must have or be able to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, carry, reach, lift for sustained periods
- Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam

Essential Responsibilities
- Maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, HVAC systems, and associated equipment.
- Perform scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components.
- Adjust systems to maintain proper voltage, refrigerant levels, current, frequency, and synchronization.
- Identify, repair, and record malfunctions by removing, repairing, and/or replacing defective components.
- Maintain systems such as Cummins generator series and utilize Cummins Inpower software for diagnostics.
- Work from blueprints, drawings, and operate a variety of electrician's hand tools and testing instruments.
- Support various generator/HVAC systems identified in specified tables.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Universal 608 HVAC certification.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Formal training on power generating equipment and associated equipment.
- Willingness to perform other duties outside the HVAC trade.
- Computer knowledge to navigate online training, time keeping and email.
- Four (4) years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain.
- Six (6) months of Cummins Commercial, AMMPS and InPower Software experience required.
- Must have or be able to obtain/maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Ability to lift of up 50 lbs.
- Ability to do the following for sustained periods: stoop, bend, kneel, carry, reach, lift.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.
