Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
- Develop and maintain broad knowledge of one or more areas of Human Resources
- Coach and partner with employees and leaders as it relates to HR area(s)
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations; maintain legal documentation
- Interpret, explain, and advise others on human resources guidance, policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations
- Manage confidential files and other privileged information
- Maintain broad understanding of data relevant to HR area(s); manages reporting requests and interprets data for others
- Work independently using initiative to propose solutions to problems
- Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources or related field
- Typically four years experience within Human Resources or a related field
- Solid knowledge of laws and legal practices and procedures as it pertains to HR area
- Excellent listening, coaching, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical ability and problem resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with an HRIS system
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
