Location and Work Arrangement

  • The role is based in existing Ramboll office locations within the United States, and remote locations will be considered.
  • Occasional travel of less than 5 percent may be required.

Your New Role

Join Ramboll’s North America People Advisory organization as a Human Resources Generalist / People Advisor.

Support US-focused HR activities while collaborating with People Advisory teams globally on projects and processes.

Take independent responsibility for tasks within an assigned scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations issues and conduct workplace investigations, including reporting results and taking appropriate action.
  • Provide coaching, support, and guidance to managers and employees, including support for workplace accommodation requests.
  • Coordinate pay transparency-related requests for the Americas and communicate with managers about related activities.
  • Champion global HR change and continuous improvement, including developing and implementing automation initiatives.
  • Resolve ServiceNow cases in line with service-level agreements and apply understanding of Workday HRIS functions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a multi-state environment with a strong employee relations focus.
  • Strong understanding of employment practices, policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal employment laws.
  • PHR or equivalent certification is strongly desired.
  • Ability to work confidentially and provide inclusive service to employees and managers.
  • Strong proactive and collaborative ability across cross-cultural and virtual environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems, HRIS, Power BI reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Transparency

  • The anticipated base salary range is $80,000 to $110,000 per year.
  • Actual compensation may vary by location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
