Location and work setting

  • The role is available from existing Ramboll office locations within the United States.
  • Remote locations will be considered.
  • The role supports virtual and cross-cultural collaboration, with occasional travel of less than five percent.

Role overview

Join Ramboll's North American People Advisory organization as an HR Generalist and People Advisor.

Manage US-focused employee relations and people advisory work while collaborating on global projects and processes.

Take independent responsibility for tasks within an assigned scope.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations issues and conduct workplace investigations.
  • Report investigation results, take appropriate action, and provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Support workplace accommodation requests and coordinate pay transparency requests for the Americas.
  • Collaborate globally on HR change, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives.
  • Resolve ServiceNow cases in line with service-level agreements and support day-to-day HR operations.
  • Use Workday HRIS knowledge and perform other assigned duties.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and four or more years of relevant HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a multi-state HR environment with a strong employee relations focus.
  • Knowledge of employment practices, policies, procedures, and state and federal employment laws.
  • Confidential, inclusive, proactive, and collaborative approach across virtual and cross-cultural environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems, HRIS, Power BI reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PHR or equivalent certification is strongly desired.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; sponsorship is unavailable.

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary range is $80,000 to $110,000 per year.
  • Actual compensation may vary by location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
  • The position may also be eligible for bonus, overtime, or other compensation.
