Position Summary
Support employee relations, HR administration, recruitment compliance, personnel records, and employee communications.
Assist management and leadership with resolving human resources issues.
Human Resources Duties
- Monitor employee relations issues and follow up on resolutions.
- Monitor hiring and recruitment processes for legal and policy compliance.
- Respond to employee and management questions about HR programs and policies.
- Disseminate information about employee relations, activities, and personnel policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and interview files.
- Assist with annual employee survey logistics, administration, and scheduling.
- Answer phone calls and record messages.
Management and Operations Support
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
- Follow company, safety, and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
- Use clear, professional language and appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Enter and locate work information using computers or point of sale systems.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No license or certification is required according to the source.
Work Environment
- The role operates in a hotel environment and includes guest interaction and routine physical activities.
- The position requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
