Overview

  • Eden Rose is currently partnering with a growing international professional services business to appoint a Human Resources (HR) Advisor in the Dubai, UAE office location.
  • Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Human Resources Advisor will support businesses across the UAE, UK and US.
  • This is a hands on role suited to an HR professional who is confident providing practical advice to managers while also delivering day to day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer support to managers and employees with employee relations, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and policy guidance.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees, acting as a reliable first point of contact for HR queries.
  • Escalate complex or high risk matters to senior HR leadership or external advisors where appropriate.
  • Contribute to engagement, culture and retention initiatives, helping to ensure that people practices are consistent, compliant and aligned with the needs of a fast paced business.
  • Provide guidance to managers on handling performance issues fairly and consistently.
  • Support the delivery of employee feedback, engagement and retention activities.
  • Help identify trends from employee feedback, ER cases and HR data to support improvements in people practices.
  • Manage a range of employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, absence management and performance related concerns.
  • Provide guidance on UK employment law and support compliance with relevant UAE and US employment practices, working with external advisors where required.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, internal changes, promotions, family leave, absence, exits and offboarding.
  • Support payroll processes across multiple regions by ensuring employee data is submitted accurately and on time.
  • Work with finance, managers and external providers to resolve payroll queries.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar hands on HR role.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience advising managers on HR policies, employee relations and performance matters.
  • Confident preparing HR letters, meeting notes and employee documentation.
  • Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, changes and offboarding.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Good communication and relationship building skills, with the confidence to work with managers and employees at all levels.
