Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Group finance function
- Review team structures, responsibilities and processes to ensure efficiency, scalability and strong financial controls
- Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts across all Group entities
- Review and enhance management information, board packs and KPI reporting
- Agree key financial performance measures with Chairman and leadership team
- Proactively manage Group cashflow and working capital
- Lead Group budgeting and forecasting process
- Review commercial contracts to ensure profitability and appropriate margins
- Provide leadership and oversight to Group Corporate Services function (HR, Compliance, Marketing, Office Management)
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes across the Group
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, insurers, tax advisers, legal advisers and other professional partners
- Review key supplier contracts and service agreements where appropriate
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Minimum 8 years' post qualified experience
- Experience in a similar role in a professional services business
- Excellent management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management experience
- Experience operating across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience overseeing support functions beyond finance, including HR, compliance or operations
