- Implement and maintain HSEQ policies and management systems in line with legal requirements, Jotun standards, ISO, and ADOSH regulations
- Manage HSEQ documentation and records, ensuring audit readiness and follow up on corrective actions
- Coordinate and support HSEQ projects and initiatives with Element Owners to improve safety, quality, and environmental performance
- Deliver HSEQ training and awareness programs to build a strong safety culture and ensure compliance
- Monitor, review, and continuously improve the HSEQ management system to maintain certification and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or a related field
- Professional certification such as ISO, IOSH, NEBOSH IGC, or equivalent
- Minimum three years’ experience in HSEQ or related role, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HSE reporting systems or digital tools
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Summary of the Role
- As an HSEQ Specialist, you will help create a safe, compliant, and high quality workplace by providing expert guidance on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) practices and ensuring all operations meet legal and corporate standards.
- This role reports to the HSEQ Manager and is based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain HSEQ policies and management systems in line with legal requirements, Jotun standards, ISO, and ADOSH regulations.
- Manage HSEQ documentation and records, ensuring audit readiness and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate and support HSEQ projects and initiatives with Element Owners to improve safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Deliver HSEQ training and awareness programs to build a strong safety culture and ensure compliance.
- Monitor, review, and continuously improve the HSEQ management system to maintain certification and regulatory compliance.
We are looking for a candidate who
- Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ISO, IOSH, NEBOSH IGC, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HSE reporting systems or digital tools.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in HSEQ or a related role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
