About the Role
Powertech, part of EDGE, is seeking an experienced HSE Team Leader to drive HSE systems in an aerospace manufacturing environment. The role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with ADOSH and ISO standards, and managing high-risk operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) aligned with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- Develop and manage HSE plans (Emergency Response, Environmental, Waste, Welfare, Transport Safety)
- Ensure full compliance with ADOSH and UAE regulatory requirements
- Oversee HSE compliance across aerospace manufacturing and hazardous operations
- Manage chemical storage and safety compliance in line with Civil Defence requirements
- Implement permit to work systems (confined space, work at height, hot work)
- Conduct HAZID assessments for new processes
- Lead hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA)
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Monitor and report HSE KPIs and performance metrics
- Plan and conduct internal/external HSE audits and inspections
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, including 5+ years in aerospace, defence, or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of ADOSH and UAE HSE regulations
- Experience in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and audits
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (or equivalent)
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
- ADOSH Practitioner Certification (Grade A or above)
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor (preferred)
- Experience in aerospace or defence environments (preferred)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
