Responsibilities
- Supervise all incoming inspections of empty components and packaging materials
- Ensure sampling plans are executed according to approved procedures
- Verify compliance of incoming materials against approved specifications, drawings, standards, and quality agreements
- Review and approve inspection results prior to material release
- Coordinate inspection priorities to support production schedules
- Manage daily operations of the Empty Components Lab
- Ensure equipment is calibrated, maintained, and fit for purpose
- Develop and implement testing methods and inspection procedures
- Monitor laboratory performance metrics and turnaround times
- Ensure proper housekeeping and organization within the laboratory
- Maintain accurate inspection and laboratory records
- Support internal and external supplier audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
- Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance, inspecting incoming mechanical components
- Proven experience working within calibration and exposure to setting up an Empty Components lab
- Experience of Quality Management Systems & industry standards like ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably also in Arabic
- Willing and able to travel locally

- Ensure sampling plans are executed according to approved procedures.
- Verify compliance of incoming materials against approved specifications, drawings, standards, and quality agreements.
- Review and approve inspection results prior to material release.

Basic Requirements And Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
- Minimum 05 years experience in Quality Assurance, inspecting incoming mechanical components.
- Proven experience working within calibration and exposure to setting up an Empty Components lab
- Experience of Quality Management Systems & industry standards like ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably also in Arabic
- Willing and able to travel locally

- Experience in explosives environment
- Understanding of explosives/ammunition environment
