Job Summary
ARKAN Polystone & Design Manufacturing LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our growing manufacturing and construction operations team in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and maintaining a safe working environment across factory and site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations at factory and project sites.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Prepare toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions for workers and staff.
- Ensure all employees follow PPE and safety procedures.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain HSE documentation, records, permits, and reports.
- Coordinate with management and site supervisors regarding safety improvements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor law and safety regulations.
- Monitor fire safety systems, emergency equipment, and evacuation procedures.
- Support audits and inspections from authorities and consultants.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct safety training and site inspections.
- English proficiency is required; Arabic is an advantage.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
- Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
