Overview
The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring **Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)** practices on site, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce **HSE policies and procedures**
- Conduct **daily site inspections** to identify hazards
- Ensure proper use of **PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)**
- Carry out **Risk Assessments (RA)** and conduct **Toolbox Talks (TBT)**
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with **health, safety, and environmental standards**
- Report and investigate **incidents, accidents, and near misses**
- Maintain **HSE documentation**, reports, and records
- Ensure proper **waste management and environmental compliance**
- Coordinate with site teams to correct **unsafe acts and conditions**
- Assist in **emergency response planning and drills**
- Ensure compliance with **UAE HSE regulations and company policies**
Requirements
- NEBOSH Certification (IGC or equivalent) – **Mandatory**
- Minimum **1 year of experience** in HSE/Safety role
- Basic knowledge of **UAE HSE standards and regulations**
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to conduct safety training and awareness sessions
- Familiarity with safety procedures and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in **construction industry**
- Knowledge of **environmental management practices**
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
