About the Role
Accor is seeking a detail-oriented HSE Officer to join Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with UAE regulations.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive workplace inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and non compliance issues
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with ADOSH/OSHAD regulations and UAE labor laws
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses; document findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and maintain detailed HSE documentation, records, and reports for regulatory compliance and organizational review
- Deliver safety training and awareness programs to employees at all organizational levels
- Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established HSE standards and best practices
- Collaborate with management and department heads to customize HSE initiatives and address workplace safety concerns
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external HSE consultants to maintain organizational compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement and behavioral safety programs
Requirements
- Valid ADOSH/OSHAD certification
- Minimum 2 5 years of professional HSE experience in a corporate or industrial environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor laws, ADOSH regulations, and HSE standards
- Proven expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill set with attention to detail
- Proficiency in HSE documentation, record keeping, and reporting systems
- Excellent communication and training abilities
- Experience conducting workplace inspections, safety audits, and compliance monitoring
- Proficiency with HSE management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

- Experience developing and delivering customized safety training programs.
- Familiarity with behavioral safety and safety culture development initiatives.
