Role Summary

  • We are seeking a highly competent HSE Advisor to support construction supervision activities across multiple projects in the UAE.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, proven site supervision experience, and the ability to drive compliance and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day HSE performance on construction sites, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client standards, and international best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; issue corrective actions and follow up to closure.
  • Support the Resident Engineer and project leadership with HSE reporting, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Review and approve contractor HSE plans, method statements, permits to work, and emergency response procedures.
  • Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns to reinforce safe work practices.
  • Monitor high risk activities (excavation, lifting, working at height, confined spaces) and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.
  • Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and contractors to resolve HSE issues and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of HSE experience in construction supervision within the UAE or GCC.
  • Strong understanding of UAE HSE legislation, local authority requirements, and international standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001).
  • Demonstrated experience managing HSE on building, infrastructure, or mixed use development projects.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent are mandatory.
