About the Role
The Performance Management Specialist supports and continuously improves the organisation’s performance management framework.
The role works with HR and business leaders to define objectives, measure performance consistently, and align performance with business strategy.
The role requires experience in performance management, KPIs, employee development, and HR analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the annual performance cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.
- Establish measurable, business-aligned KPIs and performance objectives with managers.
- Monitor performance outcomes and identify trends, gaps, and improvement areas.
- Guide managers on reviews, objective setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Maintain performance management policies, processes, guidelines, and documentation.
- Improve performance management systems and tools.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for HR leadership and senior management.
- Analyse performance data to provide insights on productivity and engagement.
- Support Performance Improvement Plans for underperforming employees.
- Identify development needs with Learning and Development teams.
- Promote consistent and fair performance practices and support calibration exercises.
- Conduct performance management training and maintain confidential performance records.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in performance management, HR, or talent management.
- Strong understanding of performance management frameworks, KPI development, and competency-based assessments.
- Experience with HRIS or performance management systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in real estate, property development, construction, hospitality, or another fast-paced multi-function organisation is advantageous.
