About the Role
Emirates seeks an HR Governance & Compliance Manager to develop and enhance governance and compliance practices across the People Experience team and One HR. Responsibilities
- Manage process governance across the People Experience team and One HR by monitoring and assessing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending innovative solutions including AI, chatbots and RPA.
- Proactively identify and recommend industry best practices for process governance, automation and continuous improvement.
- Define and implement the One HR process and data governance strategy in alignment with Emirates Group governance and compliance requirements.
- Manage data governance activities in partnership with ED&A and a network of Data Custodians and Data Stewards across One HR.
- Manage data risk and compliance by working closely with HR teams to ensure data quality, protection, consistency and governance standards.
- Establish and manage an internal quality and control framework to support effective process risk management across One HR.
- Own knowledge management by maintaining the accuracy, relevance and compliance of People Experience manuals, SOPs and related documentation.
- Lead the adoption of analytics, governance and data management practices across One HR through coaching, capability building and training.
- Manage relationships with external professional bodies, industry associations, consulting firms and academic institutions to benchmark best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant roles within an HR landscape
- Proven background in governance & compliance
- Experience in Project Management and business consultancy in operational supporting areas
- Experience managing a process, governance, compliance or audit function within a large scale, complex organisation

Job Purpose
- As Governance & Compliance Manager, you will develop, manage and enhance Governance & Compliance practices across the People Experience team and One HR, leveraging industry best practice to drive consistency, effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Working closely with HR teams and key internal stakeholders, including Data Privacy Office, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A), you will help embed robust governance and compliance frameworks.
- Through strong governance, process standardisation, quality assurance, and audit compliance practices, you will enable HR to deliver better outcomes across workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, productivity, employee engagement, attrition and retention.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant roles within an HR landscape.
- Proven, applicable background in governance & compliance.
- Experience in Project Management and business consultancy in operational supporting areas.
- Experience managing a process, governance, or compliance or audit function within a large scale, complex organisation.
You'll Have An Edge If You Have
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Relevant certifications in governance and compliance (e.g. ISO)
- Experience in HR and/or the aviation industry
