Job Overview
- Inspects all guest rooms, corridors and pantries on a daily basis to ensure highest standard of cleanliness.
- Conducts on the job training for all Room Attendants.
- Maintains effective employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and maintain equipment and machines used.
- Prepare job orders and coordinate with Engineering for follow up.
- Ensure special attention given to VIP rooms.
- Attend daily briefing with EKH/AEH in Housekeeping.
- Report sick, irregular guest, and any stranger on guest corridors to Housekeeper and Security Office.
- Proper handover and take over of shifts.
- Report all Lost & Found items to Housekeeping.
- Prepare discrepancy report for front office.
- Conduct fumigation for rooms and floors.
- Follow up Do Not Disturb rooms.
- Prepare inventory for room linen.
- Notify Housekeeper any damage caused by guest.
Additional Duties
- Check and follow all maintenance reports if work is incomplete.
- Water and change all flowers as per schedule.
- Ensure flower arrangements look pleasant before delivery.
- Daily physical inspection of occupied, vacant and checkout rooms at 1300 hours.
- Make sure maid trolleys are parked properly.
- Monitor Key Issue no. 3 / Entering/Leaving a guest's room.
- Oversee work of PA attendant.
- Handle all service matters to guests in the station.
- Supervise activities of Room attendant.
- Check all check out rooms and guest rooms.
- Be fully aware of the Rixelence of the day.
- Proper grooming at all times.
