Responsibilities
- Supervise allocation of work assignments to Room Attendants and Porters to ensure maximum coverage
- Assign special duties to Room Attendants and House Porters on assigned floors
- Check computer system throughout the day for update of room status
- Check and return allocated number of guest rooms to required standard
- Report rooms not requiring service, Do Not Disturb, or double locked
- Report and log maintenance defects; liaise with Maintenance and Reception regarding out of order rooms
- Ensure soft furnishings and décor of rooms are maintained to standard
- Oversee implementation of deep cleaning and replacement
- Check VIP rooms to ensure they are cleaned and maintained to required standard; ensure VIP gifts are replenished
- Control and supervise issue and recording of keys and bleeps to departmental staff
- Check that adequate linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies are held in floor cupboards
- Ensure all public area and back of house areas are clean

Job Description
- Under guidance of Executive Housekeeper, responsible for assigning and supervising activities of room attendants, house porters and linen porters to ensure clean, orderly, attractive and well maintained guest rooms, corridors, fire exits, stairways and service areas.
- Responsible for ensuring all staff and guest issues are dealt with effectively and timely.
How Your Day Looks Like
