Housekeeping Attendant

Job Scope

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across lounge seating, dining areas, restrooms, showers, family suites, smoking rooms, and staff areas.
• Segregate and dispose of garbage in designated collection areas according to airport environmental and recycling guidelines.
• Follow HACCP and Municipality food safety standards when cleaning food and beverage areas, equipment, or surfaces.
• Operate floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, extractors, and other housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to SDS and company safety procedures.
• Receive, organize, and store housekeeping supplies, chemicals, janitorial items, tissue products, and cleaning tools.
• Submit and receive laundry items, including uniforms, towels, linens, and mops, while maintaining accurate tracking records.
• Replenish tissue, soap, towels, shower amenities, and other consumables in required areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and shower rooms frequently and maintain guest readiness.
• Maintain high-touch surfaces, furniture, windows, fixtures, and other lounge areas.
• Complete cleaning checklists, restroom checks, chemical usage logs, and other records for traceability.
• Report repairs, support high-traffic lounge turnaround, perform scheduled deep cleaning, follow lost-and-found procedures, and comply with airport safety and security protocols.

Job Requirements

• High School Certificate.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Basic computer operation knowledge.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive can-do attitude, independence, and good efficiency.
• Shift duty is required.
• Work location is an airport.

Work Location

• The role is based at an airport and involves working across lounge areas and other assigned premises.
