Role Overview

Cleaning and Room Presentation

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, villas, bathrooms, and assigned public areas.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and perform detailed cleaning.
• Arrange and present room amenities, equipment, furniture, and facilities properly.
• Assist with VIP room preparation, turn-down service, special cleaning requirements, and special occasions.

Operations and Guest Service

• Report maintenance issues, damages, lost property, and missing items promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Follow room cleaning procedures, checklists, SOPs, and health and safety requirements.
• Handle cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies safely.
• Maintain housekeeping pantries, storage areas, and service areas.
• Keep adequate stock of linen, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Collect and deliver guest laundry or other requested items when required.
• Support the housekeeping team during busy periods, special events, and high occupancy.

Privacy, Safety, and Teamwork

• Respect guest privacy, confidentiality, personal belongings, and Do Not Disturb procedures.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with lost and found procedures according to resort policies.
• Work effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments.
• Maintain awareness of resort facilities and services to assist guests appropriately.

Minimum Requirements

• One to two years of experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Room Attendant, or in a similar role is required, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and luxury room and public area standards is required.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, reliability, and a positive service attitude are required.
• The role requires physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Fluent or conversational English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• The role requires adaptability to a remote resort environment and changing operational requirements.
