Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent guest service at all times.
- Clean, service, and replenish guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas in accordance with Forbes Five Star and Waldorf Astoria brand standards.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items promptly.
- Support the availability and timely release of guest rooms in coordination with Floor Housekeeping Supervisors.
- Maintain control of Housekeeping operations, including staff attendance, master key control, incident reporting, and management of uniforms and linen.
- Review daily guest information and ensure all guest preferences and requests are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
- Coordinate special guest requests such as floral arrangements and embroidery for special linen.
- Inspect uniforms and ensure they are sent for cleaning or repair as required.
- Manage the daily release and handling of guest laundry items.
- Provide support by covering Laundry Attendant duties during holidays, days off, or absences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Housekeeping role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A proactive and solution oriented approach.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- High standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- Previous experience in a luxury hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Forbes Five Star service standards is advantageous.
