- Clean guest rooms according to Rixos Hotel standards of cleanliness
- Complete self inspections and provide personal, professional, and courteous service to every guest
- Replenish all room amenities such as toiletries, soaps and tissues
- Safely operate and maneuver powered mobile carts
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean as you go procedures
- Attend required training classes and incorporate new standards, service knowledge and safety into daily work practices
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded
- Physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to handle repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided)
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests, team members, and contractors
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required

Job Summary
- The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning the guest rooms according to the Rixos Hotel standards of cleanliness.
- Completes self inspections, and provides personal, professional and courteous service to every guest.
- The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for exceeding guest expectations through positive interactive skills and anticipating needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Know and adhere to the company policies and procedures, embrace company culture and take pride in the resort and its amenities.
- Awareness of guest experience at all times, smile and make eye contact, communicate professionally.
- Follows all department policies and procedures for room cleanliness and self inspection.
- Responsible for maintaining the Rixos standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of each room by performing General Clean/special projects.
- Must be able to complete assigned credits by exercising proper time management daily.
- Replenish all room amenities such as toiletries, soaps and tissues.
- Must safely operate and maneuver the powered mobile carts.
- The Housekeeping Attendant interacts with guests, co workers and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety guidelines in operating the motorized cart, use of chemicals, and lifting requirements.
- Attends required training classes and incorporates new standards, service knowledge and safety into daily work practices.
- Understands the resort, hotel features and services including how to find the information for the guests.
Qualifications
