Southern Sun is seeking a Hotel Sales Manager to develop business and support commercial growth.
The role focuses on corporate, government, group, and MICE business in the Abu Dhabi hospitality market.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business through sales activities, client meetings, networking, and account development.
- Manage assigned accounts and maximise revenue, market share, and long-term relationships.
- Conduct sales calls and meetings, convert leads, and follow opportunities through to conversion.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Develop sales initiatives, client activations, familiarisation visits, and experiences.
- Maintain CRM intelligence, prepare reports and account plans, and provide revenue forecasts.
- Build relationships with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and industry partners while delivering agreed targets.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar hotel sales position.
- Established contacts in the Abu Dhabi corporate, government, and business community.
- Experience in a 4- or 5-star international hotel environment.
- Ability to generate new business, grow accounts, and achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi hospitality, corporate, government, diplomatic, and MICE segments.
- Communication, negotiation, presentation, commercial analysis, CRM, forecasting, and reporting skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
