Southern Sun is seeking an Employee Wellness Officer to support employee recognition, wellness, engagement, onboarding, accommodation, and internal staff initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the staff recognition and incentive program.
- Produce internal communications about HR initiatives and proceedings.
- Arrange staff birthday greetings.
- Promote the ideas program through an employee committee and provide progress feedback and reports.
- Maintain staff locker rooms and the cafeteria to appropriate standards.
- Maintain staff wellness and accommodation facilities.
- Ensure effective onboarding of new employees.
- Stage internal events for Southern Sun staff.
- Manage scheduling and reporting for community upliftment projects.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality work independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant recognized tertiary qualification.
- Knowledge of Southern Sun practices, policies, and procedures.
- At least two years of experience in HR or Marketing.
- Previous experience in incentive, recognition, or wellness programs, or project management, is advantageous.
