Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate and hard-working Electrician to support hotel electrical operations.
The role covers electrical plant maintenance, repairs, installations, compliance, and safety activities.
Responsibilities
- Assess electrical and plant breakdowns and perform repairs.
- Install new electrical-related equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance checks and identify faults.
- Produce a detailed monthly electrical update covering all electrical plant and equipment.
- Comply with ADOSH and other safety standards.
- Conduct monthly meter readings.
- Work on live equipment up to 415V.
- Participate in health, safety, and environmental programmes.
- Ensure required installations have compliance certification in place.
- Work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience in hotels.
- A completed Diploma in Electrical or an ITI qualification.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work.
- Previous technical experience as a qualified electrician who has served an apprenticeship.
- Flexibility to work shifts according to operational needs.
- Hotel experience in the UAE.
Work setting
- The position is based at Southern Sun Abu Dhabi and requires hotel operational coverage.
