Role Overview
- As a Hostess at DELANO Dubai, you are the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a refined yet relaxed dining experience.
- You will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and ensure a seamless flow of arrivals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, polished welcome to all guests, creating an immediate sense of arrival and comfort.
- Accurately manage bookings, ensuring guest preferences, special requests, and notes are captured and communicated effectively.
- Organise table allocations to ensure smooth service flow, balanced sections, and optimal guest experience.
- Monitor arrivals, wait times, and table turnover to maintain a seamless and well paced restaurant operation.
- Engage with guests during wait times in a warm, professional, and attentive manner.
- Work closely with front of house and management teams to ensure clear communication and operational alignment.
- Manage walk in guests and waiting lists efficiently, ensuring fairness, clarity, and a positive guest journey.
- Maintain strong awareness of restaurant layout, seating plans, and daily operations.
- Ensure the host stand and entrance area are always immaculate and reflective of DELANO's luxury lifestyle aesthetic.
