- Support during service by executing tasks promptly and maintaining quality under pressure
- Follow strict HACCP and hygiene standards, ensuring cleanliness and compliance
- Assist in proper storage, labelling, and usage of ingredients to minimise waste
- Work closely with CDPs, Sous Chefs, and other kitchen team members
- Continuously develop culinary skills and techniques under the guidance of senior chefs
Requirements
- Previous experience as Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in luxury hotel or high end restaurant
- Good understanding of basic culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong focus on consistency, presentation, and quality standards
- Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high pressure environment

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Section Support: Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section efficiently and effectively
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and presentation standards
- Mise en Place: Maintain a well organised and fully prepared workstation to support smooth service execution
- Service Assistance: Support during service by executing tasks promptly and maintaining quality under pressure
- Hygiene & Safety: Follow strict HACCP and hygiene standards, ensuring cleanliness and compliance at all times
- Stock Handling: Assist in proper storage, labelling, and usage of ingredients to minimise waste and maintain quality
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with CDPs, Sous Chefs, and other kitchen team members to ensure seamless operations
- Learning & Development: Continuously develop culinary skills and techniques under the guidance of senior chefs
- Consistency & Standards: Ensure all dishes align with DELANO recipes, plating guides, and brand expectations
- Kitchen Discipline: Maintain a professional, organised, and proactive approach in a fast paced kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Luxury Experience: Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or high end restaurant
- Culinary Skills: Good understanding of basic culinary techniques, preparation methods, and kitchen operations
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on consistency, presentation, and quality standards
- Hygiene Knowledge: Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices
- Team Player: Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively within a structured kitchen brigade
- Adaptability: Able to work efficiently in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Educational Background: A formal culinary qualification or international culinary training is preferred
