- Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and clinical guidelines
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in health status
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, and other specialized nursing procedures
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and home safety
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with DHA regulations
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- Valid DHA Registered Nurse License or DHA Eligibility Letter
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Homecare experience is preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage

Job Summary
- The Homecare Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes while ensuring high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and established clinical guidelines.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in health status.
- Administer medications, injections, intravenous (IV) therapy, and other prescribed treatments.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, and other specialized nursing procedures as required.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and clinical progress.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and home safety.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational policies.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and initiate emergency interventions when required.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards during all patient interactions.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of medical equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Valid DHA Registered Nurse License or DHA Eligibility Letter (for Dubai).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
- Homecare experience is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Previous experience in home healthcare, medical surgical, OPD, or rehabilitation nursing is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills

- Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple patients.

Working Conditions
- Travel to patients' homes within Dubai and surrounding areas.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Ability to lift or assist patients when necessary.
- Exposure to various home environments while maintaining infection control standards.
