Under general supervision, the FEL Driver supports overall facility operations and the process and power generation plants.
The role helps maintain plant operations in compliance with production schedules and plant output requirements.
Physical Tasks
- Perform general housekeeping and facility cleaning.
- Assist team members with varied operational tasks.
- Remove debris and materials wrapped around conveyor shafts.
- Lubricate and oil conveyors, feeders, trammels, and similar equipment.
- Prepare and paint structural members and machines.
- Use hand tools and power hand tools.
- Operate forklifts and front loaders.
General Tasks
- Follow facility safety rules, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
- Report HSE procedure breaches promptly to supervisors or management.
- Attend HSE inspections, audits, assessments, and daily or weekly meetings.
- Participate in company health, safety, and environmental campaigns.
- Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
Experience and Qualifications
- A forklift and front loader license is required.
- The candidate must be physically able to perform manual labour.
- Familiarity with HSE standards, procedures, and requirements is required.
- Experience with physical tasks in indoor and outdoor areas is required.
- Similar industry experience is a plus.
Competencies and Physical Abilities
- Safety focus and communication.
- Equipment and vehicle operation.
- Heavy lifting, pulling, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Use of drills, saws, wrenches, and other power tools.
- Cleaning, repairing, and maintenance.
