About the Role
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment, machinery, and hydraulic systems. The role involves diagnosing and repairing hydraulic faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, and conducting inspections to minimize downtime.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment, machinery, and hydraulic systems
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults involving pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, hydraulic motors, and related components
- Inspect machinery for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and safety related defects
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and carry out emergency repairs to minimize operational downtime
- Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, axles, braking systems, steering systems, and powertrain components
- Conduct pressure testing, performance testing, and system diagnostics on hydraulic equipment
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment drawings

Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment, machinery, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults involving pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, hydraulic motors, and related components.

- Replace defective components and verify proper operation after repairs.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment drawings.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective repair solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and recommend corrective actions to prevent future breakdowns.
